Bob mentioned in a separate thread that we should have a rally for truck conversions, I don't know much about rallies but I do know they are a lot of work.
I would suggest that we all just get an Escapees membership, Its a good club and a real active MDT/HDT group and forum, which is a great resource for any of us as for the most part have 50% of the same issues regarding the truck itself.
They are having a rally in Hutchinson KS in Oct. I am planning it as our first rally in the "Rumrunner" and I would be great to so a few other T/C's there to support me, as I will already look like a toy truck compared to the HDT's and big 5Vrs.
here is a link to that rally.

Now we're talkin'. That looks like just the ticket. I'm going. As long as i can fit it in with my schedule. And it's too far off for me to make sure of it. Great plan, Todd! Maybe you come down to the Twin Cities on your way and we'll caravan from here? I'll race ya.

Hay Blizz, it's 675 miles from St. Paul to the Rallye. From your place I googled it and it's 723 miles. I don't know how come it's so much shorter going straight down 29 for you. But, if you wanted to do some sight seeing around the cities you could come to my place for a few days beforehand, then we could caravan down there. I don't want to do that all in one day. I've done 700 mile days and don't care for them. I've got plenty of room to park your truck here and plug in. And we're about 10 minutes from the Mall of America in case your wife wanted to go there. It would be great fun. Then I could buy you lunch and return the favor.

I got my vacation days off work scheduled so I'm clear for it. Might have to be back at work for the 17th tho. I'm thinking we're going to head down early and take our time and do some sight seeing on the way. Then zoom back at the end.

That link in Blizz's first post doesn't show cost. Looks like the sites are pretty big. I'm guessing since they are kind of more gearing it to the HDT'ers pulling fifth wheels the sites have got to be big.

I found the new link to their page: http://hdtrally.com/index.html
Would be fun to get together with some other truck conversion people. Maybe we can spread the word to those hdt guys about how nice it is to have everything right there rather than getting out and into the trailer.

Hay Gene, start your truck quick: http://www.rvnetwork.com/index.php?showtopic=78526
Sorry about the short notice but I just spotted this one. You should go show off your rig and see some other cool trucks.
