Default Front wheel change from 8.250" to 9.0"

Just thought I'd share some front wheel research I've done. My '03 Freightliner Columbia(not sure if other trucks are the same) with a 13,880# front axle had Accuride 8.250" wide wheels with a 7400# @120 psi rating. I found Accuride makes 8000# @131 psi wheels that are 8.250", but I ran into a deal on Accuride 29730 9" wheels which were a much cheaper price on a scratch and dent type deal. I just bolted one wheel on, with no tire, but it fits fine. I was concerned about the brake chamber, but there's lots of clearance. Should be fine with a 295 or a 315 tire. Just letting you know.

I bought a set of used Alcoa 9" wheels when I had to switch to 315 tires. $80 for the pair and some elbow grease and they look pretty good. I wouldn't mind going to a different offset though to push the tires out a little more.
