i have looked ( here and elswhere on the net ) have not been able to find much if any info on building a decent R.V. from a used reefer . surely i am not the first person to think of this. If i am by some miracle i want 20% royalties. seriously anyone know the ins and out or why and why nots ?

Anyhow, I have not built such a vehicle, but I did contemplate the idea. Are you thinking of a box reefer or trailer?

Positives and Negatives that I thought about:

1) could be better insulated

2) might have mold from condensation deposits

3) could be easier fitting AC, lines, etc

4) if it was on a trailer, then the fuel tanks would already be installed for the generator.

sorry for any confusion, most definitely a trailer, with any luck a 42' 38 may be even better. my total idea is loading ramps in the back to load a small car for daily travels. and have enough room for it to be a live in unit with all the amenities of home, just scaled down a little .
