Went through MKC end of last month,on my way to a
King of the Road Rally in Amana,IA.I told Larry I would like to see his Volvo.I more or less arrived at the RV court he is at unannounced. He met me the next morning, spent condsiderable time with me,discussing the Volvo(which had been sold).
He freely offered conversation regarding converting to large truck.I know I probably interrupted his personal life some but he was very gracious and spent several hours with me and the wife discussing trucks. What a neat guy.
Thanks Larry
Fuzz

Thanks for your kind post Fuzz. I really enjoyed meeting with you and your wife. Who wouldn't enjoyed the company of a retired airline pilot like yourself? I love talking trucks with someone who is really interested in trucks. You are always welcome anytime. I am retired too, well semi-retired I guess.

I have delivered the Volvo you saw, and have finsihed the conversion of another Volvo. I will detail this truck Monday and Tuesday. Pictures Wednesday, webpage finished by Thursday. I am sure this truck is sold, but I will send you the webpage when I finish it anyway.

I will have another Volvo 610 converted within about 45 days. I already have the next one on hold for me. All the specifications of the next Volvo and this Volvo are identical.

All the specs, information, and about 15 to 20 large pictures of this Volvo will be on the webpage I send you.

Maybe you will let me do the next conversion for you if you are interested. If not then, maybe later on. These particular Volvos have Super 10 speed transmissions. A Super 10 only has five lever shifts. The other 5 shifts, if done, are performed by clicking a button.

I picked this Volvo up today after the conversion process was finished. I drove it home, some 20 miles, using only three lever shifts all the way. Three lever shifts is all you will ever use, even when starting off towing your trailer.

Thanks again,
Larry
