I have been searching the internet for months looking for a company that makes and installs motorhomes that can be customized to fit your chassis, I have a 1993 FL70 that I want to change the existing 24ft box to a motor home with garage for taking the family to dirt bike races in. Does anyone know of a company in the Northeast that does this kind of conversion? I am not looking for anything fancy, just functional.
Thanks,
Jackie

Check with Transport Design. They are located in Penn. They have a web site. They are a full custom shop. In an e-mail they said they had no standard floor plans. So they might be willing to build the body only.

Also come of the conversion companies will build on a used chassis. Perhaps they will be willing to do the body only.

Do they have a website, or a phone number I can get some information from?

Thanks,

Check out United Specialities. The brand name they use is Trendsetter. I believe that they offer a conversion package on the customers chassis.

What made me remember this was the NHRA weekly National Dragster showed up yesterday. This was the first issue for the 2004 racing season. There are 12 pages of advertising in the classified for race trailers, toterhomes and motorhomes.

WWW.motor-toterhomes.com which is the site for Cap's Coach and Trailer is shown. In their adv they have the United Specialities logo. A small footnote says "Built on DOT Certified Used Chassis".

Depending on depth of pockets... Cobra is great but all aluminum.. = Expensive.
Kingsleycoach.com ..not cheap.. Showhauler might be able to help also if what you want fits in their floorplans..
good luck
John
