Default Tours of Renegade and NRC

This week I have had the pleasure of both Renegade and NRC facilities in Indiana. I had brought my 06 NRC in for upgrades and took the opportunity to tour their facility. While small, they are very capable and saw several coaches in various stages of construction. I was very impressed with how they are constructed and seem to be a very solid unit. Next, I toured Renegade's facility. They are a much larger companay and were building many coaches mostly the new Ikons. They claimed the core motorcoaches(white race models) were very slow and the newer painted versions such as Ikon were selling well. It also is a very impressive facility. Much different method of construction using frp and aluminum tubing for wall construction. NRC uses all welded steel with radiused corners and edges to eliminate exterior trim and covering with aluminum panels. Both appeared to be great coaches. This is must see if you're in the area!

I was at Renegade last year and they did take me on a tour. Very interesting. Tour after I bought my rig. I am planning to be at Renegade in Sept for their customer days. What I hear is they are busy building rigs.

Agreed.. I'm happy to see thriving businesses!

By the way, Showhauler has a group on Facebook and they sometimes do 50+ picture build albums, and you can see every step of the process. Theirs seem like a pretty high quality setup as well, but no 1st hand experience.

Showhauler in Middlebury will also give a nice tour- they are also busy with a good backlog!
