Default Converting Silverado 2500 into camper/home

Hi everyone, I'm new the the forum so I'm not exactly sure if I'm in the right place. I just bought a new truck that I plan on turning into a camper/home. I landed a new full-time remote job and I have the freedom to travel around the US wherever and whenever I want. I've been researching on what's the best way for me to either convert my 2500 into a camper or buy some trailer for it. Something that is reversible and will have a good resale value down the line in case I find I don't enjoy the nomad lifestyle as much as I thought.

I've been looking at Scout Campers or other similar type products. Does anyone here have any experience with this or have any general advice they can offer?

thanks a bunch!

2003, after a half-century of make-do camping in lesser rigs, we built our ExpeditionVehicle.
.
Our base vehicle is a 1996 Ford CF8000 commercial truck.
GVWR -- 29,000#.
Weight across the scale -- 14,000#.
Cargo capacity -- about seven ton.
.
Suggestion:
* avoid believing 'this rig is my forever rig'.
You evolve and grow, your vehicle needs change.
.
Try your camper for a while.
You may discover you prefer a HouseTruck or skoolie.
Or a sailboat.
