Hello I have always wanted to buy a "Big Boy RV" and wanted anyones thoughts or advice for trips outwest. I like warm weather but I cannot afford to build a home in two areas. I have looked and what do you all think of being retired and traveling west during the winter and returning to my home in the spring? I have the money to build a house out west but hate to be paying for a new home I will not be using for half a year. I am retired medicaly from Injury in service and this back of mine kills me on the mild winters of the South. I figured it up last year with trips coming and going I spent over $30K last year and I want your thoughts. Last years trips were air fare car rentals food etc. I have a small farm that I am leaving to my kids but for me I am looking into a RV Rig conversion with a rear garage for a bike and my assorted stuff. Arthritis is my enemy so I am looking at any ideas for south west travel. Thanks I am in Texas this week and I love it but not enough to sell everything and move here full time. I have a young son that is traveling with me so any Fun places that both of Us can travel to during the winter would be great. Thanks
