I worked at one of the larger car companies for several years and had access to 100% pure H2. Being that I knew about the LP injection add on systems, I designed and built an H2 system to augment the diesel fuel. The H2 was injected after the intercooler on my Cummins engine and only was activated after the trans was in OD and the cruise was on and working. WoW what a clean exhaust and fuel economy went through the roof. Exhaust temps came down and power was exceptional. Now keep in mind that H2 was a bit higher in price than fuel today, however I proved to the engine engineers that it could be done and safely. BTW, the high pressure tank was plummed for both H2 and/or Lp.
