Trying to sort out how much fresh water we should have on board as i need to figure out tanks etc...... only 2 adults and 2 dogs. The plan is a cassette toilet [which needs water supplied], shower and kitchen. I was thinking 150 to 200 gallons but i'm now questioning if that much is really necessary [space is not an issue].

They say a person uses 6 gallons a day, so 100 gallons is about is roughly 9 days......

Opinions, experiences and thoughts?

thanks

200 since you have the space but 150 should be enough. It is nice not to have to think about water.
I previously had a Diesel pusher with a 100 gallon tank, and I frequently ran short when I had no access to water. But, I showered frequently because of racing in a hot car back then.

I now have a Toter with a 200 gallon tank and typically end up in the boon docks off roading and dry camp for several days at a time, so a lot of water and a big generator are the two most important things for me. If you are always in an RV park maybe the big tank is not as important.

Thanks, was have been thinking 200 gallons all along but was not sure if it was overkill or not.
