Camping Season is HERE!
We purchased this TrailManor from a couple who used it one or two times. After that, due to health reasons, the camper sat unused inside an airplane hanger until we bought it.
We love that this is the floorplan with the most...

Sharing a couple of long (30min) videos someone posted on the Rpod forum. Fun ASMR quality videos for those who like everything to be done neat and tidy when camping. A member of the Rpod forum installed mover motors, as seen in the first 2 minutes of the first video, a couple of years ago and...
We are going to be camping in Bear country and want to be bear aware and prepared. Hopefully won’t need it but where do you source it? Amazon or Visitor Centers or stores in town. Looking for price and effectiveness.
Thanks in advance.
Wife and I are considering a new fifth wheel that is about 42.5 feet in length from our current fiver which is 37.5 feet. Are we going to regret going longer? If so, how soon will we regret it? If not, why not?
I am planning on boondocking in south east Idaho this summer( July/August)and was curious about other people's trips. Was there enough spots available in the area?Should I be concerned about showing up and nothing is open? I haven't boondocked yet but wanted to try it. I just don't want to get...
We are considering a water cooler to be placed outside our camper for an extended upcoming camping trip this Spring. My obvious concern is for exposure to rain from the back panel. Has anyone utilized a cooler outside the camper? Would welcome all thoughts and opinions …suggestions.
We're in Tucson and wanted to do a short tour of southern NM with the Escape. This petroglyph site is on BLM land and has only two campsites with hookups, but there is dispersed camping allowed. We were wondering if anyone else on the Forum has camped there and can advise about road...
I have a 2023 Thor Motor Coach Tellura. I don’t have an onboard generator. I was wondering if someone could tell me how long the batteries would last dry camping in April with the furnace running at night.
Hi. I'm recently retired, and now looking to begin a solo camping adventure across the US. I'm an experienced tent camper but looking to upgrade to a trailer and having a solid roof over my head. :) Any hints or tips on trailers for a solo camper and his dog would be much appreciated.

We need to be in or near Downers Grove, IL at the end of MAY to attend our granddaughters graduation. Any advice for an RV spot in the area that will accommodate a 38 foot Class A and a Jeep Toad? Just need something safe and clean for a few days.
Happy Trails,
Ron, Marsha, Piper and Daisy
We're older and increasingly unhappy with the high steps to access the bath and bedroom. 5th wheel is about 31' 10,000 gvw. Tow truck is F250 7.3L gas. much more than adequate for towing. rated tongue weight for the truck is about 2200 lbs.
Considering a TT. With amenities we want a...
It's warm today, so we're thinking about getting started for the season.
We'll get the Roo out of storage, dewinterzie and re-provision in two weeks, prepping for our first weeklong trip in three weeks (for spring break). The DW and I will be off to Starved Rock State Park (and it looks like...
Hi there - I will be headed to Anza Borrego from Northern California in a few weeks and am curious about taking 395, staying in a couple of spots on the way down. If the weather shifts to snow I will not do this, but looking for recommendations for spots/dispersed sites that would be open at...
CW has a travel trailer I have some interest in, but I've read some mixed reviews about purchasing from them?
Anyone with any experiences with them? We had to have a skylight replaced on a Salem Hemisphere under warranty with them, though we had bought the RV from 'Funtown', and had no issues...
The kids borrowed Lagniappe this MLK weekend to camp and surf at La Push on the coast. Sometimes, not often, but sometimes the outdoors in January is perfect here in the pacific northwest.
Joanne and I had a great time at the annual Winter Freeze Out held in January at Tahquamenon Falls State Park. When we arrived at the park, there was about 3 feet of snow on the ground and by the time we left, there was 6 to 8 additional inches of snow. We did go through a lot of firewood. The...
Hello all…we are new to the forum, we have had three class c motorhomes. We purchased our first Thor 2024 Chateau 31WV (Gus 3.0) in July of 2024. We flew to Winnipeg Manitoba to pick it up as we bought it used from a couple in Michigan. They were so nice and drove it to the Pembina border...
We are finally going to try and avoid the cold and snow. We were looking into Texas but it appears that it has some very cold weather in January and February.
We are looking for ideas of where to camp for the Winter. Oh and Not Florida.

Back winter dry camping.
What do you think, set the furnace to come on and off all night, or just a morning big warm up?
If I set the temp to say 68 deg F the furnace will cycle maybe 8 times in the night. The rig cools off quickly even with all windows and under bunks insulated.
Or, just...
