if im in "camp" connected to shore power i disconnect the batteries (by switch).

in my storage bay, even w/ shore power, i disconnect...

even SEALED (lead acid) batt's can be checked for fluid.

i would IMMEDIATELY pull that battery and test it, and check to see...
