Ok, Talked with two campgrounds and they asked me what kind of rig. I said a 40' truck conversion. What's that A. B, or C. Now we all know not a B. Is it a C on Steroids? an A so they understand size. I know it seems silly but some people just don't get it. What do you tell them when you book a site?

Just tell 'em it's a "C"(which it technically is), then check the look on their faces when you pull in ;-)

....yep!....gives them the squirts and then they want a tour...get ready-dinner is going to be late that nite....geof

I always just said I had a 40' motorcoach, no one ever asked for more info than that.
And yes the jaws do drop when you show up. Bill |
The first camp ground we ever went to asked us the same thing. I said 36 foot class C. When we showed up with the diesel, air brakes and looking like we do we definatly got the looks.
No one asked for a tour but I think they were all scared of the truck. Mat |
I tend to go with C on steroids and the looks are great https://www.truckhome.com/infopop/emo...on_biggrin.gif

I think we gotta come up with our own designation for truck conversions..... how 'bout "Super C" ? Kinda has a nice ring to it......

i still like callin' ours a class "a" which in my opinion it is. mase

We pulled into the campground late Friday night and were unable to register until Saturday afternoon because we were fishing. When we pulled up to the gate house to register in my son's PU with the boat behind the lady asked what lot I parked in. "Lot 20" I said. "OH! THE SEMI TRUCK!" she said. Obviously they had already checked me out. LOL

I call it our coach. When making reservations it is a 45' Class A. I am registered at FMCA as a Class A Motorcoach. At Canadian Customs is is a motorhome. When talking to our accountant is is an investment or write-off, depending on what we are talking about. When something breaks down, it is a sonabich!!!

....OMG there are two of us!.....geofkaye
