Still working on it...
I know I have not been on here in a while, but I am still working hard on the old International/Ambo/Camper. I post most of my build on the Expedition Portal, I guess I need to post em here to for you all.
A Prodcutive Weekend! - Expedition Portal! I will try to get on here more often, just been busy. Hope everyone is doing well |
Hay Dodger, good to hear you're still around and working on that rig. I'm liking the pics you have over there. I like red lights too. Very nice electrical work on that panel. I think you need a few more relays though, hahahaahah.
Do you have your build pictures like in a album somewhere? It's kind of time consuming to go through all those posts and pages to look for them. Keep up the work and keep posting here. |
Thanks,
I need to organize them somewhere, I try to take as many pics as possible. The draw to the expedition portal is that it is on tapatalk, so I can post easily from my phone. |
Id love to see 'em too....w/out having to register for another site ;)

I picked up some bright white LED strips (75 LED's per 20 inch long strip) & used dbl sided 3M automotive body side molding tap to stick them to the inside lip of the bin - the strips can be cut or soldered together to allow FULL coverage lighting. I built some shelves in for my bins and nearly doubled the storage space...and added lighting / coverage for the top & bottom shelves. I used these (they seemed cheap at the time) - but now you can buy a 17 foot flexible LED strip/roll (multi color if you wish) for less that what 2 strips cost. In fact i used a $24 - 17ft strip of the flexible roll for my outside awning lighting - its much better than the single incandescent bulb "porch" light and i can change the color (to eliminate glare or avoid attracting bugs). |
