Default Interior Question

I am just starting to venture into converting a 17ft uhaul trailer into a modest toter to haul my atv and camp with. I am such a newbie, its pathetic, but I wanted a project/hobby to occupy my time and brain.

does anyone have suggestions on:

venting
power
windows/door
types of hardware to use on the interior, i.e. screws rivets etc

what is the makeup of the walls, i.e. aluminum with pressboard between?

my goal is do have something doable, nothing fancy

search the archives for most of those answers. kinro is where I got my doors, and windows. Bontragers in MI is the best surplus for anything across the board IMO. I went up there to buy a couch and had a hard time not leaving with the whole truck packed. lol

And it sounds not too far from the size of Randy's camper. He had a ton of posts and pictures and everything about how he built his. I think he called it the "stealth camper." Search around for those posts.

Yes, the stealth camper thread is the most detailed for a box truck build, along with doc's grande rojo. There are also a couple of ongoing build threads specifically for uhauls.

i used osb boards for interior walls. i'm not sure how well they will hold up. but only boards i could find for 9 foot walls.
for vents and power you need to decied if 12 volt or 110 power.

Thanks!

I read the stealth thread, holy cow, incredibly detailed and 75% over my head! lol

I am trying to figure out what to use hardware wise on these walls, the stealth machine is farrrr to advanced for me. the woods works pretty good for my toilet needs although a good incineration device would be interesting!!

I am going 110v from deep cycle marine batteries.

Just need basics in the tote, ventilation, heat/ac, lighting etc. I do not plan on having stoves etc at least not in the near future
