Default Shower Pan Bathroom

Just a thought. I used a 2' x 4' shower base for the bathroom, set the rv potty on the back (cut a second hole in the base for output) and framed up the shower base. Found a small corner sink at RV Parts Supply Store and added a shower curtain that pulls across the door. Towels stay on wall behind the shower curtain and you can do all three "S"s in the same space! The rv potty drains directly into the black water tank below (there is about 18" between the floor and the top of the tank) and the shower water drains over to the gray water tank with a trap under the floor. The faucet for the sink has a shower adapter on it with a hand held wand that also mounts to the wall. The interior walls are all FRP. Added a mirror above the sink (12" x 12" mirror tile worked great). Just close the top on the potty and you have a shower seat!

This is an old post but I do wonder if you actually did this as I have a light weight keystone Kargoroo with aluminum welded chassis and frame and am looking at a nice low mile f800 with a low mile 7.8 cab and chassis. I am going to full time rv looking to pull a trailer with 68 fury on it for dd. Hasy anyone done this type of conversion with success

" . . . pull a trailer with 68 fury on it for dd."

What the heck do you mean by this? Use an RV to pull a trailer, sure. A 1968 Fury, OK. But dd, has me confused.

So you want to attach a trailer to the truck instead of building something, eh? that's easy-peasy, pal. No reason it shouldn't work fine. Me? Like others, I converted my box truck into what I wanted/needed but the same principle holds for what you're thinking of doing and you'll be done far faster. Go for it!

Ok thanks any ideas on a good way to attach the two frames together. I have been searching for moutnting ideas to allow both frames to flex independently to keep from stressing the trailer from the MTD frames natural flexing under normal use. Was thinking a 3 point attachment single pivot point in the front to allow movement like the ball hitch did and 4 air bag points in place where the tandem axles were located to allow movement and isolate the vibrations and reduce stress on the camper. Similar to what I have seen on earthrover construction.
