Product Demo & Install Video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zv2YysLKK-M Where i First Learned about product - Choosing and Installing a RV Keyless Entry System / Lock Manufactures page - Bauer Products - RV and Trailer Handles suggested retail is over 300 bucks, however google reports that the EM (motor coach) unit is available for about 217 bucks from what i can see. |
I bought the lock and am returning it.
The key & keypad operates the deadbolt - but there was no handle lock. I got some bad information from the manufacture, I was told there were TWO different models - one with a (key operated only) handle lock & one without, this turned out NOT to be true. I would prefer to be able to OVERRIDE the keypad/dead bolt by locking the handle (by key). consider someone might be traveling with me & i might want to be able to keep them out (think kids or guests) even if they had the keypad combination, with a locking handle i could lock it and accomplish this. At night i would also like the option to be able to over ride the key pad (a handle lock would be enough) to prevent someone from trying to enter. I haven't found any "electronic" locks that (rated for a coach) that have two separate locks - everyone i found is a single lock (dead bolt) only. |
