I've got a 2001 Freightliner with a Detroit 60 series in it. I've heard several conflicting ideas on how to store the vehicle for winter. I'm not worried about the coach, only if I should be doing anything special to the engine/chassis. So far I fill the fuel tanks and keep the batteries charged and fire it up in spring. Any thoughts ??????

In addition to the items that you already listed, I did the following:
-- Added fuel stabilizer/conditioner to both tanks
-- Covered the exhaust pipe to keep out moisture and critters
-- Covered the inlet to the air cleaner to keep out moisture
-- Removed the windshield wipers to prevent deterioration
