Hey Steve,

Saw you cruising the site, as you can see from the logo, love the Black Mack you guys did.

I see your site was updated with a nice photo gallery and some really cool conversions.

Nice work!

When you get a chance tell us a little more about what you guys are doing.

That black Mack was for a drag racer called Black Horse. He couldn't get the floorplan he wanted in Elkhart, so he came to us (he did buy a trailer from Renegade though). I think we built that one sometime around 2000.

About 18 months ago we decided to step it up a couple of notches - especially on the interior, so now we're trying to fill a hole (albeit small) in the really custom conversion market. All the layouts shown on our website were designed by the customer. We really don't have set floorplans and rather build according to what the customer wants (we've started out with floorplans drawn on napkins!). This past spring we completed a quad-slide motorhome and matching trailer and we've got an order for another with granite countertops, curved cabinetry, and travertine flooring. Everything you see on the website is built on-site. We are not a production outfit and don't wish to be. What we are doing are custom one offs. It's time comsuming sometimes, but we'll do what others either can't do or don't want to do. Keep an eye on the website, we'll be adding a 6 wheel drive Ford truck with teak interior and a Chevy 5500 with a drop-deck garage and ramp door soon.

Steve@Transport Designs You state your company is building a 6 wheel drive Ford truck with teak interior and a Chevy 5500 with a drop-deck garage and ramp door? Did your company sell the conversion or has your company agreed to manufacture the conversion? "Keep an eye on the website" for a product you sold or was it sold by another company?

Hi Steve,
have been following your website for quite some time now. Love your pics, even most your conversions are longer than I personally look for.

You completed a quad-slide motorhome? Thats impossible! According to RV Truckin only Cowboy Cadillac is the only company to make that.... (Just in case you dont know there is a whole other thread going on re Cowboy cadillac) and I can see he is already questioning your info regarding the new products.

The C5500 will be sort of like Enduramax or Seneca ZX?

Walter

.....keyword her is "building what the customer wants"....I think the highline customer will go for this idea rather than plunk down 30k+ for a cookie cutter design....MO...geofkaye
