Default Slide out construction

Hey everyone. I am very curious about how the slide outs are constructed. What do i need to make one. How much stress does it put on the rest of the truck. Stuff like that.

Mine is made by Liftco: Welcome to Liftco, Inc. - Liftco - RV Beds, Flush Floor Systems, RV Folding Beds, Glide Outs, Manual Roller Slideouts, RV Beds, Stabilizing Systems, and more!

I think it would not make sense to try to make one yourself. I think you can buy the unit from them and put it in your application.

'03 Freightliner FL112, 295" wheel base, with '03 United Specialties 26' living quarters, single screw, Cat C12 430 h/p 1650 torque, Eaton 10speed , 3.42 rear axle ratio
