Found this picture here of this side door that looks to be wider and have a larger piece of glass in it than most doors I see on conversions.

Do any of you folks like this size? Is a bigger door better?

I like the large glass window, making it a slider would be nice.

It came from this link here about the rig for sale: https://truckhome.com/eve/forums/a/tp...1/m/3011046514

It almost looks like a standard size screen door. I can't advocate this specific setup, as it is really weak in terms of security. I would consider a standard size door with a high quality home style door bought for security purposes, much as I have for the front door of the house.

The problem with that size door is its to big for the amount of area its on. You tie up 24 sq ft out of approximatly 240 sq ft.

The door looks like a 36" and it does have RV style latches and screen. A door this size takes up 2.5 sq. ft. more than a standard 26" side door.

It's a 32" wide door with insulated glass and it costs over $1200 wholesale. I like the extra width because we like to use residential sofabeds (much more comfortable then RV couches) they won't fit through 24" or 26" wide doors.

We typically use that 3M film that makes the window look as i it's acid etched. Helps with security. I agree a sliding window would be nice in the door.
