Default Removing outside entertainment center

I am circling the idea of removing the outside entertainment center on our Renegade to afford some additional basement storage. We finally got our storage unit rented, so I will have a dry place to work on it, but I'd like to know what is back there before I start taking things apart.

Has anyone done this, or at least disassembled theirs for an upgrade? I plan to save everything, so I can upgrade it and re-install it if we decide to sell or trade later.

its pretty empty - just a metal bin/box - I've had my TV out several times.

Ive upgraded my speakers and added (12v & USB) sockets...someone always needs to charge a cell phone at the track etc.

Do you have a radio (car audio) system in the same space (like myself)?
If so you'll very likely find a 12vdc & 120vac drop in the storage bin (for the radio & tv).

Are you gonna put a TV in there at all ?

My plan is to remove our existing TUBE tv and install a flat screen on a folding slide similar to what John has in his coach - here.

When John's Flatscreen TV is folded "up" and stowed there is some storage underneath, which would still be accessible when the TV is "unfolded" or "deployed" for viewing.

The entire thread (that goes off the rails on more than one subject) is here

Heres the Mor/Ryde Slide-Out & Flip down Flatscreen mount - its about 150 bucks.
I'll have to fab something for the car audio receiver & associated speakers.
