I was originally looking to have the door centered on the window above, here is what they did without my knowledge. There is a vent close by on the left, but i still think we could have gotten it, what do you think?, Here are a few more shots of the new window, and door int.

This is the opposite side, the side the window was added to, the new window was centered below the upper master bedroom window. Picture the passenger side with the door offset. This is an old photo, G

I think it looks good lined up with the leading edge of the window above it.

Hay Gene, where are you at on this? Did you get it all worked out with them? When are you planning on picking it up? Coming by St. Paul?

BTW, they are talking about adding a small window or porthole to the left of the door to balance things out, G

That sounds very cool! You're going to be the envy of the campground. Until I pull in and unload my Vette from the trailer, hahahahaahaah.

Well,, the truck and trailer match. But the car is black. So it coordinates. Hard to see the car parked way down at the far end. I need a wide angle lens.

Thanks Gene, it's not a fancy rig like yours tho. Very spartan. The truck is 36' bumper-to-bumper (26' living quarters). The trailer is a 24' box with v-nose, ball to tailgate is 31'. So the whole thing together is 68'. Very manageable.

Bob, thats great, i like the setup, my wife and I just got back from an RV show, no truck conversions, and everything looked awkward and cheap, having now been introduced to TC's, Gene

Thanks Gene. My kids think I should get it graphic'd up. But I have a hard time paying money for looks. My money goes to make it go faster or stay together longer.

I just went to the Mpls. r/v show last night. Only two truck conversions there. One was this one: http://busesandmore.com/rvs/2004-Show-Hauler.shtml

That one has been for sale for almost 2 years around the twin cities here. They were asking 140k for it last spring when I looked at it on the lot. I liked the looks of it and offered them $120k. The owner (it's on consignment) declined my offer. I found a truck I like a lot better for way less then so it worked great for me.

The other t/c there was this one I think: http://www.eldoradotrailersale...il.cfm?VINCheck=3443 . They are asking $334k for it. It looked very nice. Don't know if it's worth that much tho.

Lot's of class A's. Even mix of diesel and gas ones. They all look overloaded to me. A great moment was when Mrs. and I were in one checking it out and a few other people came in and started walking around and it was rocking away and she got motion sickness and had to run out the door. That thing really was swaying with not that many people walking around in it. My truck sure doesn't rock like that.

Several class C's on F450 chassis. Not a single C on a Topkick/Kodiac chassis. Did they stop making them?

A bunch of Sprinter based B's (is that the class they call those things?).

Lots of trailers.

Not a single bus conversion. I thought that was odd.

I thought most of the posted prices looked pretty good. It looked like the two t/c's were pretty popular by the amount of people going through them. I talked to a couple guys I didn't know and told them the plusses of a t/c.

I ended up buying a 22' fiberglass extendable flagpole:

I've always liked those things.

I always liked those flagpoles as well, since i am getting a couple of prices on having the Smart car painted to match the rig, i asked Silver Crown for the color codes, they sent me the original invoice from the paintshop, 7 colors and $18,000, thats what they paid to paint my rig. G BTW, the highest quality stuff i saw at the show had to be the Born Free Rigs, real nice small packages, the Airstreams are always nice to see as well.
