Does anyone know the distance that the factory toterhomes use for spacing between the centerline of the fifth wheel hitch and the rear of the living quarters?
thanks in advance

Most newer trailers are 102" wide. So, if you made sure that you had a minimum of 51" from pin to conversion it should work okay.

The only thing that would alter that is if the pin location is NOT at front edge of trailer. You need to add whatever the distance it is from the front of trailer.

This will keep the trailer from hitting while in a turn.

If I recall measuring a couple the tow deck was 7 feet back of living quarters to rear of tow deck.

The centerline of the rear axle was three feet forward of the back end. I think the hitch was even with the centerline of the axle.

You need 5 feet from rear of living quarters to center line of front axle.

Rob is right, our Renegade measures 58" from rear of conversion to ball center.
