Default COnverting the truck box into an RV.

Helo,
I am planning to buy a used truck and convert it into an RV. I am thinking about making it like this.
After the conversion, I intend to rent it. What do you think? Any suggestions?

Default building a truck conversion

I would like to know how long you have been thinking of this. I only say that because the amount of time and $$$ required to convert a truck is LARGER than most people can imagine. I built mine and it took almost four years full time (7 8 hr days a week). And the cost is north of 80 K. I would think unless you need something that can't be found on Racing Junk, you could buy a used unit for much less money. You did not mention anything about your skills and the space you have to build in. I only ask that you take a long look at the amount of work and money, and then if it still makes sense to you, go for it. I started mine after many people said I would be sorry. I am not sorry but I know some people have built or started building and then not been able to complete the dream. If you go forward with it good luck to you and have fun.

I have been thinking about it for a year now. Yes, I want to buy a used truck that I can get cheap. I was expecting only around 50 K. I was thinking about approaching professionals. How much would that cost if I contract converters?

Contracting out work will only make it more costly and make a used completed conversion seem all the better deal.

I'd be very wary renting a vehicle of this size and quality.
Notice that the ones rented by _______ are small and cheaply made/cheaply fixed.
