I have been attempting throughout my project, to keep a long, low and smooth look to the RumRunner, the one or should I say 2 things that really stick out or stand out is the big square signal lights atop the front fenders. I'd like to put something lower and more streamlined in their place but I lack the words to put into a Google search. Have you guys any ideas? It isn't a commercial truck anymore and its licensed in good ole' ND where I don't have to have it inspected so I really could care less about a non-standard equipment issue, I want something that works, folks know I'm turning, and is smooth and cool looking.

thanks

I've seen some cool lights on trucks that might work. I've just got to do some searching. Here's I80 Truckstop's light section: http://www.iowa80.com/Directio...GHTS&cart_truckType=

What about this one mounted between your front clip and the top of your bumper?:

There are alot of low profile lights out there, these would be sweet on top of your fenders

That old single unit one could be mounted in place of the GMC logo plate.

I'm going to dig into this a bit more after I get the bathroom and electrical all back together.
thanks!

Blizz, amazing job on the Rig, i love the step detail, The low profile is awsome, the flush awning detail, and the round lights on the side. Did you design and build the whole Rig?, Gene

Gene, have you looked at his build pictures? It's amazing what Todd did with that rig. He cut the frame and lowered it. I've seen it in person, it's very cool. And my son caught him on the road down in Tenn. or somewhere (my son is an over-the-road truck driver). He recognized it and called me and said he was catching it so I called Todd to tell him to look in his rearview mirror. Can't mistake the Rum Runner going down the road.

Todd, where's those pictures showing your frame re-do?

the whole shebang starts on page one on the escappees MDT forum, I try to keep everything in one place just because it turns into a mess trying to follow many different posts.

Thanks Gene, its been a lot of work, but its a nice diversion from work. I really like driving it, almost too much.

I love slapping down 400-500 mile runs before stopping, set the cruise, the radio with a book on tape, and just let it roll.

I love your matching truck and Smart. very very nice..
