I'm curious....how much was the tow?

i ran a set of (rear) tires 7+ yrs beyond the mfg production date, they never showed any signs of (vertical) fracturing and i had 10s of 1000s of miles on 'em...I can't remember if the rears were BFG or GoodYears.

I had a set of Michelins on the steers that were 1/2 the age that showed vertical fractures that i replaced.

I treat our tires with 303 UV Protectant (and RARELY) cover our tires, that said we are in covered storage.

I'm curious why they couldn't just fix you on the road? Did the tire cause other damage that disabled the truck?

"I" was a dumb ass !

They were to old and "I" said they would be ok ! All 6. Not !

At about 100 miles up the hill to Flagstaff, poof ! No tire.

I'm not going to tell you how old by ? DUMB, ASS !

The tow was $$$$.

Could have gone with a tire change but ? Their all the same age.

Went with just, tow to the tire dealer and in the AM change out all 6.

Been working on a "T" square system for my table saw. Need the doors to be nice !

But have a quest. Getting some flak from the Wife about needing "TWO" big trucks. The Semi and my LMTV/M1078.

Finish the International / RV and sell it or sell the LMTV ?

Thanks for the input !

Well I added house battery's. 3 group 31's.

Now the truck has its own system and the box has its.

Nice looking battery tray! Is there a tray or something that goes on that slider to block off the inverter from the road? I mounted my inverters inside a cabinet in the bedroom because I wanted to be able to operate the buttons and see the panels without going outside. I also thought it would be nice to keep them away from road junk.

Hi,Bob.

My invert-er has the remote panel.I had it inside but it was to loud.

In the photo you can see the pull out table.

Have not build the panels for the box.

Love the pull out table, what do you store under it? That looks like the same grill I have, did you get it at home depot?

Very well done. Great lights. Do you have a dim setting for nights when you are not sitting or cooking outside?

No dimmer but it could be added ?

The lights are Ebay, like $14 each ? Just LED's off-road lights.

Thanks.

Dang, I just read your thread and wish I would have done so earlier in the year. I'm up in Flagstaff and would have loved to have seen your rig and talked to you while you were up here. It looks like a cool set up. We also had a steer tire blow out during the first trip in our rig. Sure don't want to do that again. Good luck on the sale. We come down your way quite a bit & I'd love to see the rig if we ever have time.

With the truck up for sale I need to finish the cabinets. So I have been working on some tools for the job. This is my old/new table saw with a new "T" square system. Also it will have a router in one end.

I'm selling because of another build that is a M1078 for over-landing . Its a auto and the Wife will drive it.

Where did you get your material for the rear wall skins? Curious if you were able to pick some up locally in Phoenix. I need to re-skin our back exterior due to hail damage.

Should be in stock. Think their 4' x 10' ? I had them cut down to fit my panels.
