Default 40' motor home Pete advice

Looking to build a 40' motor home on a Pete 335 chassis or equivalent.
Looking at today's pricing and emissions I would like to find a Super C or class 8 40' pre DEF 300-400HP. Is there a company who convertes trucks? Or can one be converted from a van box? Trying to stay under $80K

I think Showhauler will try to work with you on the chassis you prefer, but I am not sure about the cost.

There are a few pre-emissions rigs on racing junk, a couple are petes. You may want to take a look there if you haven't already.

I do know Showhauler will work with you on your chassis. I don't have any other knowledge for additional, i am sure there are some others.
