Roadmaster used to be a few miles from my home. The founder Judd Jackson sold the business and it eventually failed. He built what I consider the finest conversion you could buy. And you paid for it. The slide is hydralic, with pneumatic seals to keep out the air/dust etc. The floor is aluminum extrusions that were custom made, welded and bolted together. If a vehicle had a sky light he used Bowmar (sp) marine hatches to make sure they were waterproof. The paint jobs are so deep you can dive into them. Notice no sharp edges on the exterior, and the over the cab area has an integrated look. After 9/11 the market really dried up for high line race car haulers which was their forte'.

Spirit of full disclosure, Judd is a friend of mine, so I am biased.

it is a nice rig.

the cabover portion does look cool. sort of rounded and pinched.

the picture here of the slideout looks cool.

as though the slide is a tight fit and there are no exterior hinges systems exposed...

why didn't the builders put windows into the slideouts forward and rear walls...? it would have opened up the space a bit more.

the interior looks clean and modern.

anything else you can add about the rig?

....have they solved the water and air leakage problem yet?....Look over the slide-there is no awning so where does the water go?....and of course crank that thing out in a rainstorm on a cold winter nite and I bet they do leak somewhere around the edges......It takes but an ounce of decrease of interior air pressure like a bathfartfan to draw water into the coach....Theonly coach slide out that Iwould trust to be water tight is the hydraulic cylinder slide out coach that Lauranceburg Motor Sports built with a soft 3 part gasket and hydraulic cylinders to move it in and out....many lbs pressure tohold it in place on steel rails with 2 inch cylinder rods....driven off the pto hydraulic system......geofkaye
