Take a look at the unusual cab over roof design.

if the cab over section was reinforced tubular steel, you could go driving down streets with low trees and smash them out of the way for cheap entertainment!!! https://www.truckhome.com/infopop/emo...on_biggrin.gif

look in the rear mirrors and see branches and leaves falling... https://www.truckhome.com/infopop/emo...on_biggrin.gif

and as I look at that picture again, it reminds me of that airplane called the Super Guppy shown here https://www.truckhome.com/infopop/emo...on_biggrin.gif

now compare it to the truck https://www.truckhome.com/infopop/emo...on_biggrin.gif

see the similarities https://www.truckhome.com/infopop/emo...on_biggrin.gif

Nothing that about a half-hour with a sawzall won't fix......
I never did like cabover bunks anyway.....

For the price, that's a bitchin' rig. Racingjunk consistently has killer deals, that's where I found my critter.

While weird, I can see one advantage to that roofline: on most rigs, the A/C units, TV antennaes, vents and other "utility stuff" form the highest points of the roofline. Had he run the whole roofline that tall, he would have been effectively 8" to 10" taller than it is now because those "utility items" would still need to be there.

As is, the top of his cabover is the highest point with the utility items behind it at the same height or a fraction lower.

So he gets a usably tall cabover bed AND he gets extra "brush/trees protection" for the utility stuff.

May look fugly but it's a very well thought out concept.

.....ok lets say the has 3 feet of cab over with sleeping gear inside measurement....only thing that will do is get kids off the floor up in tha air[safety issue].....make damage to the coach worse$$....as well as aerodynamic penalties$$....where is the design inprovements besides blocking the A/C unite and a few antenne?.....geofkaye
