Yes. This setup tows absolutely flawlessly......even in very high winds. The original ball was 12" behind the axle centerline. I found out after weighing my rig, before I started building my stacker trailer, that the front axle was over 1500# heavier than rated. I was able to move the ball back 22" more, which removed 800# off the front. I have towed this way across three states in nearly hurricane conditions with a wife that did not even notice(she was crying scared in our pusher with any wind before) Although I'm still working on moving some things to balance out the chassis, I did just score a pair of 9" front wheels to fulfill any weight issues I may still have.
