Is there a similar rule of thumb for garage conversions? I'm still in wishing/planning stages but will want to haul a Mini Cooper garaged in the back of the RV. They weigh 2900 Lbs and most (not all) of the builders I've contacted have said I would need the tandem rear axel. I won't be towing anything but plan to store a few hundred pounds of gear back there with the Mini (mostly windsurfing gear <400lbs)
