I think it would be next to impossible to get the DMV in CA to agree to register something they can't see for themselves. It's tough enough when you have the vehicle sitting outside. Without it, describing what you plan to do is not likely to make much headway IMO.
I have a buyer in Ca who I think plans to enlist Bill Ramsey's assistance in registering his Volvo, hopefully this week. I'll let you know what happens.
I currently have 2 white 2000 Volvo with autoshift transmissions. One conversion is just about finished. I should have a webpage for it by Wednesday night. I'll post the site on the for sale section of this forum then. This Volvo is my best conversion ever. This one is already sold, but I have a couple more in the pipeline.
