There is one thing I wished I had done before I layed the floor. The Pergo I used had a padding already attached which I thought would soak up the rivet heads and seams in the floor a little better than it did. I think adding a flexable floor leveling material would have been better. One issue I was worried about was raising the floor to much. In the end it worked pretty good.
