I am hiding on this web-site because I hate to ask this question on the Escapees Forum. Plus, we aren't Escapees!
Am 99.99% convinced we will purchase an HDT in
the next few months.
A bit concerned about regestering the beats as MH in Florida and Insurances'. Have any fellow HDT owners regestered their rigs in Florida and if so where... I'll go to the same place.

I see that this is an old post, but I'll answer it anyway. My garage coach is registered and insured in the state of Florida. I didn't have a huge problem, but it was a little confusing at motor vehicles. As far as insurance goes, my first year went very smoothly. I think that the company simply insured the truck just like any other motorhome. When I came up for renewal, they had redesignated the coach and had a specific catagory for truck conversions. For what ever reason, the rates were considerably higher. I shopped around, changed companies and I'm now paying a rate which I consider to be fair and in line with what I would be paying for a comparably priced and age motorhome. That's the good news.
