Default Another new NRC

Just got my '07 Century equipped with a 33 ft conversion. Bought the truck new in 2007, Cat C15, Eaton Autoshift, 16000 front axle, Alcoa Durabrites and has 33,000 original miles. NRC did a fantastic job on the conversion.

Congratulations Gordy, Looks first class. I like the paint job. Wish I was able to connect with NRC when I was back there touring factories. Looks like they did a great job for you. I am sure you are going to get years of enjoyment out of it...

Very, very nice.

What was the truck before the conversion and what did you do with it?

I ordered the truck from Freightliner in 2007 and had a 22 ft van body installed on the 256" wheelbased frame. Used the rig to service various pieces of mobile equipment and depreciated it into my business. 2 years ago I retired, parked it in the yard and started to design the motorhome conversion. Truck had 27000 miles on it.
Did 2 trips to Elkhart and toured all the truck conversion people. Took all the ideas we had and put them on paper and "shopped" the conversion.
NRC got the nod and the rest is history.
Spec'd it nicely with Villa ultraleather, led tv's, Hehr 6400 series windows, luxury vinyl tile flooring, 12 cu ft fridge/freezer, Quadra leveling system, etc.
I worked with the design person at Precision Painting and then had them apply the paint and 5 coats of clear.
We are very pleased with the way it turned out and the way it performs over the road.

Actually the van body is sitting in my yard. Was going to make an enclosed trailer with it but sweetheart sold her Harley and now I don't need as long a trailer. May have the only color coordinated garden shed/truck conversion in the country-lol.
Taking pics inside not the easiest to do without a wide angle lens-will try again tomorrow.

Default a few more

1st-queen size bed, overhead storage lighting underneath. 150 gal fresh water under bed.
2nd-bedroon tv with sat & dvd. Fan and a/c over bed.
3rd-bathroom vanity with multiplex control and one of 4 fantastic fan controls.
4th-Armstrong luxury vinyl tile floor. Really like this stuff, way warmer and also lighter than tile or marble. Installed with 1/8 grout line and fools most people that it is ceramic.

No bush button-PUSH button. Actually 2 buttons, one adds water-other flushes.
