Cool Building custom 45 hauler

Great to be part of a awesome site. i have some ideas i am looking at a kenworth tag axle cab w out sleeper 12 speed 515 cat i like it sweet truck low miles 225,000.... i want to build a hauler w garage area in rear for bikes and crates perf .side entrance ramp?w bed room overtop area???i already have a new gen 10,000 watt onan , 3 ac inits a huge amount of lights 2 flatscreens selfe tracking sat system, boses surround system , add. fiberoptic lighting system and i purchased a new mig for the few thousand hours of welding to come? traded my dated welder in. so now trying to makes sure truck chassis will work and kinda need other planes on to lay out i did sell my 45 prevost, kept the 28 stacker that i will tow with the new rig??? welcome all comments...thanks and here we go..art

Welcome to the forum, I have a similar setup that you describe , I can send you some photos of my floor plan. My Rig was built by Silver Crown, rear garage, bedroom above, my garage is full 8ft wide and about 11ft deep, enough for a Smart car and general storage. Bedroom above has a queen bed and about 5ft of headroom (works great for us) My truck is a Frieghtliner Columbia, 515HP, DD......LoVe IT....G

Welcome to the forum Art. Sounds like you have found a truck that will do what you want to do. You will want to look at Gene's rig. It's a first class unit. It's apparent that a great deal of thought and planning went into the build. Lots of smart people on this site and they will save you a lot time and misery. Looking forward to following your build.
