OK, I'm the guy from Phoenix picking up the latest onezman rig. Yup, Suzy Q will become the biggest member of the growing Chandler Iron Stable. (can't wait!!! https://www.truckhome.com/infopop/emo...icon_smile.gif)

OK: On to the question.

For those of you that scored the Volvo setups, what did you do for INSURANCE? Who did you end up with? Any suggestions?

Any and all comments encouraged.

Thanks.

Chris is flying in from Phoenix tomorrow to pick Suzy Q up. I'll tell him I insure with GMAC when he gets here. GMAC will insure the Volvo without a trailer being included on the policy. RV Americal is another option. They are affiliated with Progressive Ins.

Thanks for all the leads folks. The phone wires will be buzzing on Monday.

Got coverage from GEICO to make the trip home. They have a limit on the 5th wheel of 35 feet, so looking for a "full service" RV insurance company.

OLDphoneman: Parker is close. I run through it often on my way to Yucca Valley (in Ca). Drop a line on where your staying and don't be surprised if another Red Truck shows up!

Anxious? NNNaaaahhhh!! Excited??? mmmmmmaaaybe.

Remember that feeling you had at 7 years old when you just KNEW Santa was bringing you the cool bike for Christmas? Christmas Eve night just seemed to drag on forever. Well, Suzy Q is cooler than any bike!

I got 5th wheel policy and a Volvo (motor home olicy) over the phone. They mailed me the forms and a list of what appliances a motorhome should have. I sent them photographs of all the appliances in the Volvo. Porta poti with "self contained holding tank ($60). Sink with self contained water supply ($40), microwave, refer, bed, drawers, shelves.( no propane as there are no propane appliances) central heating and air conditioning (from M11 engine). A picture of the whole rig with the proper policy # written over the 5th wheel and over the Volvo. They decided to insure both - about $1300 per year total.
