Toterhome for snowmobiling

Has anybody here ever done a snowmobiling toterhome or I guess could be used for quads?

yes take that to the WY Bighorns and try to get around the snow piles yikes, may have to bring along its own tow truck to get it in and out of the lots. Cool concept, hauling quads would be a great idea..

I'll have to forward this picture to my nephews, they are SnowMobile fanatics! :)

That's a cool idea. All they did was take as standard toterhome and build the rack over the gooseneck area. I'm assuming they already had the truck, or else it would be a whole lot easier and cheaper just to pull a 4 place trailer with a standard (non toter) RV or TC.

And blizz has a point, that thing ain't goin' nowhere when it gets off of nice dry pavement, most of the weight is on the front axle, and no heavy trailer to put some weight on the drive tires. Cool though.

I know the sleds aren't near the weight of any trailer but probably still 2500+ lbs with four there. Few buddies and I had been considering doing something with a bus or box truck thinking less hotel bills more sledding money. We saw this last winter and it got us curious, but by the looks of the price we'll probably be building our own if we do it.

if you cut the back off a school bus, moved it ahead 10' and left a deck out back to stack 4 sleds, you'd have a pretty good sled hauler.. the buses are designed to get kids to school on all kinds of nasty roads. with the sleds hanging behind he rear axle there will be lots of leveraged weight on the drivers and she will go though all kinds of snow.
If not they have big ass tow hooks on them to get you yanked out..

I've seen schoolies converted to haul dirt race cars so sleds would work too.

A real die hard goup of sledders would put a roll up door on the back of a gutted school bus then run the sleds in all the way to the drivers seat. then the riders just sit on the sleds all the way to the mountains.. :)

regarding the op & the pictured toter/skier...

I wonder how they get the top ones down :o (i dont see a crane & that would be one steep ramp) !

seems that the height is gonna be a problem...anything over 13'6" is getting risky imo...and those handle bars look to be higher than that....id definitely want the cargo below the roof line.
