Geoff,
I am sure you told me how often I need to put the screws.... could you tell me again?
The guy at Wabash told me every two inches on the seams and every four inches on the inner studs ??? I am going to paint it when all this is done, but I am afraid it will look like the side of a tank, your advice/ guidence is not taken LIGHTLY !!!
Thank You
Burt

Burt,
Every two inches seems a bit overkill.I intend to glue the .050 alum on and put screws on the seams only, every four inches. I spoke with the factory folks at Continental Cargo and thats how they do it. Gives it a little cleaner look as well. Just a thought.

That was my thought, I am using 3M Tape , and screws... where is it going to go ?

....YEP!...3M TAPE IF YOU ARE GOING FOR AIRTIGHT AND TAPE AND SCREWS EVERY 4 INCHES IF YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE IT LAST A LIFETIME....STAINLESS SCREWS ARE BETTER THAN PLATED BUT THE SELF DRILLING ARE A PIA...I HAVE PREDRILLED AND/OR USED SELF DRILLING SCREWS WHEN I HAVE THE TIME.....ONLY TAPE SOMETIMES LEAKS AND WILL POP OFF WHEN THERE IS ANY DUST OR OIL ON THE SHEETS-WHAT A MESS IF THEY SEPARATE........geofkaye and the Rivercity Girls...........
