Default Kenworth t300 coach

Hello all, I’m converting this t300 into a motor coach. I bought this with a day cab and 22’ oil field box. I purchased this truck about a month ago and have started the fab work. First thing I did was remove the box that it came with an added a 62 inch Kenworth sleeper, I then removed all the crap including mirrors bumpers bolt on things that I don’t need etc. to date I have built the fender flares, visor with sides that go down along the windshield, added a 80ies Pete Crome front bumper, fabbed stainless sided for bumper and added mirrors from a Freightliner Cascadia. Next up I am going to move the axle back 4 feet to accommodate a new aluminum 22 foot camper box then paint the cab and sleeper black, then who knows
Thx greg

Built a paint booth in the driveway and painted the cab and sleeper this weekend, hardest part was keeping it warm enough so paint wouldn’t run. Purchased a hood scoop on eBay for a camaro and split it lengthwise, then epoxied it Down and faired it out, lots of work but looks great. Paint and supplies $750, hood scoop $129, tons of prep

Default T300

So I’m having a great time building this truck and going a little crazy with some of the mods, big fan of the rat rods. Anyway, last week with the help of my wife I cut out a skull about 18” tall, heated metal with my torch and pounded out this skull. It’s made from 1/8” plate and will go on grill. Just got it back from Crome shop, can’t wait to mount it

Wow, that looks great! Can’t wait to see it on the truck. You’re really talented. Love watching your progress. Been thinking about making my build black myself. Any paint suggestions?

I used mason 2k, flows well and hides very small imperfections. It’s not perfect, I’ll respray passenger side of sleeper in the spring.

Put the bumper and stainless corners back on today right before the snow. There was a 4” gap between bumper and hood that bugged me so I built a stainless filler, looks pretty good. Sunday planning to put mirrors, grill and visor on if it’s not snowing.

Default Kenworth t300

It’s been a while since I’ve updated the truck. After the paint I moved the axle back and extended the frame and had new drivelines made. I added a 24’ box and built 4 aluminum slide outs. The slides are on hydraulic rams that run off of an electric over hydraulic motor.

Hello @Greg_pack could share what size of aluminum tube you use for your slide. Thickness and size. I notice that the base is bigger than the framing.
