I'm in central PA and would like to visit a truck conversion dealer to crunch the numbers with my MH in trade. Any ideas on where to go in PA, MD, VA, NY, or OH ?

Star Transporters just south of PA Turnpike old exit #21 has been great to us. They just brokered a deal for me and sold a buddy of mine a used Renegade this week also. If you are close by just jump off of exit 21 and head south on rt 222 about 8 miles and Star is on the right at the Brownstown exit of 222. When you get there tell Jerry that Skip told you to talk to him. When we picked up our Renegade he spent over 2 hours going over everything with us. Star is the higest volume Renegade dealer in the country and I have nothing but good to say about their customer service. They always have some used units as well as a few new ones so you can get a real idea of what the class 8 thing is all about. Also on line at Startransporters.com.

I know everyone has a different idea about what is best as far as these class 8's but I am really impressed with the Renegades and Star. No presure - and a lot of free info - best vehicle buying experience I have ever had!

I believe the Kingsley Coach factory is right near you. However, if that's out of your price range, take the time and make a trip to the Elkhart area of Indiana. Go see what Showhauler, Renegade, United, Haulmark and NCR are building. They are all within a half hour of each other. Most salespeople don't know the product that they are selling. Go to the factories yourself and see what's going on. That's where you're going to have to go if something more serious than a water pump or door handle breaks. Might as well know where the factory is and get to know the people that build these things.

You will be far better off to sell your RV online than trade. www.rvtraderonline.com is where I sold mine. Then you can pick the dealer who can make you the best deal. I used www.hickoryinclosed.com Angie knows her trucks, keeps them in stock.
