I think they look kind of nice. The couple I've seen were built on a pretty light duty (relatively speaking) Freightliner chassis tho. I think the bigger/heavier duty truck the better. I didn't think the asking prices for the two I looked at were anything to write home about either. But they were finished pretty nicely inside.

....lite duty means to me that there will be some "fixin" to be done along the way[haven't seen any with a lot of miles or down time yet]....aluminum is good!- but it must be very well engineered and a super job of welding...that alone makes me nervous with the quality of welding that I see today....[unless they let me examine it before siding the box]....also there is the matter of two different metals touching together....scary scenario to see white rust growing on a panel or around a bolt/screw[I had an aluminum door in my trailer go to chit because of the bad design].....I have a air boat what has SS bolts with brass washers and nuts to hold on the Plastic stuff on the bottom so it will slide over sand and oyster bars....and blacktop for that matter...anyway corrosion issues must be taken care of before anything else is addressed-IMHO....Even the steel superstructure that holds the engine and seating on the air boat is insulated from the aluminum....geofkaye
