Default A newbie from acrosss the pond

Hi all,

first name is Laurent, just call me Larry I guess. Coming from Belgium, Europe

Since four years in a slow motion process to transform a former horse box truck into a comfy motor-home.

My truck is a 1982 Mercedes LP 813, completely unknown in the USA, but In Europe, it was a instant hit when the first version came out in 1965 as the LP 608, 6 tons full loaded with 80 HP.

Mine is a 7,5 tons with a Diesel six (OM352) with an output of 130 HP.

This is when I bought it:

Still working at it, almost done, maybe within six months.

Welcome, show some more pictures of it, and also what you have done inside.

Welcome! I just took a look at the photos in your other post. Great setup. I really like the all around view from the settee.
