Default Hi from Cincinnati

Hello everyone!

Decided to stop lurking and joined up to do some research on a potential conversion project. I enjoy classic cars and have spent years looking for the best hauler for traveling to shows and auctions, hauling stuff, etc, within a reasonable budget...and it seems like a MDT box truck conversion might be the solution.

I've had a variety of truck and trailer combinations but they all have their drawbacks.

My build would be pretty basic, but there's a lot of consider before I pick at truck and a layout. So here I am

Yes, glad you joined up. This is a great forum but not very active. There is a member named BlizzardND that built his rig from a Kodiak/Topkick chassis. Last I heard he had it for sale for pennies on the dollar to what he put into building it. I don't know if he sold it. I'll see if I can find out.

I forgot to tell you blizzardND is a car guy and built his rig to pull his car trailer around to car events and shows like that. I found the ad on racingjunk: 2009 C&S Conv. Rumrunner RV for Sale in WEST FARGO, ND | RacingJunk Classifieds

I've been in this rig and it is very nice. For sure worth giving him (Todd is blizzardND) a call to chat about it. He's a nice guy. He has a site where he documents the build very well. Frankly you would be crazy to build a rig similar to this when you could buy this one ready to go for WAY less $$$. Only reason would be if this isn't what you are looking for.
