"jumping does not hurt....its the landing that somtimes $ucks"

its all about shocks (suspension dampening) and timing; if your car suspension is set up right and your timing is ok the jumping (or landing) can be very smooth (if one thing is off....it will hurt and /or will be expensive )

im not that big of a jumper myself (im kind of a control freak; i like my steering tires firmly on the ground ...at least for most of the time) but here is my favorite shot of our "R&D driver" () Ryan English (aka Flyin Ryan) jumping on a steep sidehill from one dune leg to the other;

.......while I have great appreciation for your efforts in the sand, I have personally pulled the top of the "Big Elim" hill in a Jeep with paddles consisting totally of pea gravel at "GravelRama" near Cleves, Ohio many years ago and decided I'd just as well enjoy the trail ride -[air time continues to freak me out] as It was days before I could move without the medication necessary to stop my screaming.....my body won't take the shocks anymore-dampened or otherwise because of foolish activities of my youth and later years up to 1996 when I broke my neck-back-pelvis-and I now have a reconstructed left arm.... I headed for the ground BUTT FIRST....that time I only fell 6' feet on to concrete.....I,like Supermam, have to be real careful and get my thrills watching others now......but I still live through the air time of others......geofkaye

That looks like he'll soon need a few parts. There's a break in his future...
