I've got an 01 Century class Freightliner with a Detroit 60 and a 10 spd semi-auto trans and twin screw drive with an 06 Showhauler 28' coach on it.I've own it for 6-8 months and had no problems, but recently I had the opportunity to ride in it while someone else drove. I noticed a fair amount of noise/vibration in the bathroom area. I was told by several people that this is normal. What's the general consensus ???? Thx, Dave....

We have an '06 M2 Freightliner with the MBE926 engine and Allison automatic. There's some road and driveline noise in the coach but no vibration. We have the quiet-ride axle and air suspension.

My 06 M2 from the drivers seat seemed to be pretty quiet and vibration free. But my wife said when you went in the bathroom the noise at speed was pretty loud since the tires and axle where just below.

I am thinking your situation is pretty normal.

I must mention that my sissy pusher on a FL chassis with 400 cummins is insanely quiet and the ride blows away both conversions. The only drawback so far are cross winds over 20 mph. Oh and that WOW factor you to get.

I am actually considering building a largecar, something like what CSM is doing. For nothing but fun, maybe pickup a truck in a year or so. I had alot of fun redoing the interior on the FLD and would love to find a older Kdub or Pete and trick it out.

06 Columbia on 06 conversion, twin screw, and I know exactly what you are talking about. I believe its just the tires against the road as well as some driveline noise.
