Airport Departure Terminal
Anyone ever drop someone off at Reagan National or any other airport with your Truck Conversion? I'm wondering if there is enough overhead clearance, or if you've seen any specific prohibitions on RVs at the terminals.
I seem to recall some low awnings at arrivals, but not departures.

NOT at Ragan but I had to do a u turn in my old Class C, it wouldn't fit. And you know the parking Lots have bars over the entrance So no Camping....LOL. Drop them off in far enough in front of the Bus that pick up people in the lots, So they don't have to run.

Did it not fit in parking, or was there no clearance at the departure terminal? I figured the arrival terminals may have made provisions for tour busses and such. I just need to do a quick drop-off.

Drop off at the bus area. I haven't been to Reagan in a long time, but there has to be a commercial bus area.

Thats what I was thinking.
Yesterday I gave the airport police a call. They were initially a bit befuddled by my question. Once the guy who answered the phone got two more fellows in the conversation, they determined that tractor trailers could fix, so my coach should be OK too.
Unfortunately, this is all academic now as travel plans have now changed.

FWIW I've done it at Dulles (IAD) and Houston (IAH)...cops tried to usher me away before my wheels had even stopped turning or my passengers could even jump out of the coach.
For Washington it might be easier to drop someone at a metro stop and let them take the metro one or two stops to DCA

Since your travel plans have changed, I thought I would let you know that you can offer your travelers curb side service in Spokane (GEG).

Well if you're ever in Central Oregon...Redmond (RDM) airport has no parking structure so everything fits... It's really a beautiful place to visit...
