Rebuilding a body totaled 2018 Volvo VNL Semi 760 3 Axle Youtube Video.

I'm new to their channel. Looks like they bought a body totaled 2018 Volvo VNL Semi 760 with 113,000 miles and are going to try and replace the body.

Does anyone here have the tools and ability to take on a job like this? How much would you pay for the truck and how much is a new one?

Lot of variables to say on what one would pay i.e. miles on the drive train and what would be the purpose for it after rebuilt.
I have the tools and ability to take on project like this if it's worth it for my purpose or for extra dollar.

We have a small organic teaching farm near Eugene Oregon.

Up the road from us is Anderson Brothers Heavy Truck Dismantling.
Anderson gets a truck like this, or better, every week.
We investigated acquiring one as a re-builder, but the nickel-and-dime parts to get it back on the road would drive us nuts.

And, then, insuring a wreck might be an issue.

In the video, they say "2018 Volvo VNL Semi 760 with 113,000 miles," so it's a body totaled, low mileage truck and with possibly more damage underneath when located.

Looks like a very good candidate for rebuild assuming the frame is still straight. It could make a cost effective chassis for a RV. Just find a replacement day cab. Tools that most people have will do most of the work. You would need something like a telehandler or overhead hoist to pick up the cab. The biggest thing needed is time. There is lots of labor in a project like this.
