bill, i've been wondering about a new heading/topic for the forum. it could have questions about what do people recommend, like you recommend magic metal polish. it could also be where we ask folks what does the forum recommed for a particular task--- tire monitors, for example, or which wash soap is best for coachs, does anybody have experience with amsoil product, these kind of topics. what do you think? --- mase

Good suggestion, Mase.

And, your idea about discussing Amsoil products is one that I'd like to kick off the discussion with...

What's the general opinion regarding installation of high-efficiency bypass filters (such as Amsoil or Gulf Coast) to extend oil-change intervals?

ei8balla: if you can't provide relevant input to the discussion you will be edited.

ei8balla is gone.

Vapoppa your wish is my command, new forum called "Aftermarket" is up.

BTW: 2 thumbs up for Amsoil. Used it on my old Ford Power Stroke 7.3 and was absolutely amazed how much a oil change could quiet a motor down and how much easier it started in cold weather. Defiantly use their oil in everything with a motor. Although I really am not the type of guy who should really care since I never keep a vehicle for more that a few years https://www.truckhome.com/infopop/emo...on_biggrin.gif, at least they are treated like kings while I own em.

Never have tried the filter though.
